Will insurance companies believe that Ridgewood is out of control? Today's headline is about a Ridgewood firefighter who wins a $3.5M judgment. Not too long ago a family of a 14-year-old who drowned in Graydon Pool won a $10M judgment.

He set off alarms. This is what the TSA are supposed to do. If he had agreed to a pat down it would have been over quickly.

I'd rather be safe than sorry. Abolish the TSA? Thay would be a green light for terrorism.

Exactly right, 7:55! He set off alarms! Gee, both he and his father are a part of the "Out of Control Police State"!

If you set off an alarm at airport security, you need to explain yourself. If the Paul family witnessed someone of South Asian or Middle Eastern descent set off an alarm without being questioned, they would have had a BIG problem with it.

This is RP complaining about the treatment of WHITE people, plain and simple.

I get my bag checked at Penn Station like everyone else. I don't like it, but I weigh the consequences and let it go.

9:30 - Have you heard the story of the little boy who cried wolf?

7:25- your two examples don't show / prove Ridgewood to be out of control, but rather the inane judicial system

12:17 -- what about inane leadership?

7:55 - "I'd rather be safe than sorry."

That's how you get all your freedoms taken away, your nations plunged into trillion-dollar debt, and your children sent to war to protect you from boogeymen in far off lands all in the name of so called "national security".

I've heard the TSA deliberately triggers alarms so they can do random pat-downs. When Rand Paul was rescanned a while later, there was no problem.

The TSA is all about security theater. It's a great big jobs machine.

Just another department in our police state

7:55 & 8:48 = clueless sheep

Even the guy who came up with the TSA idea knows its a waste of time and money...
